Not much technical support needed there, but the email hosting and support are backed by the same power house that runs the rest of their shared and virtual private server hosting solutions.

Virtual Private servers come in two flavors and are for the most part equal in size and comfort, with the exception of price. This is not to be completely unexpected however, as many hosting providers need to pass the savings on to their customers for the licensing and added support that a Windows environment requires. On the plus side, with Windows VPS you will not only have access to unlimited MySQL databases, but you will also reap the rewards of unlimited MS SQL databases too. THAT is a nice little surprise.

When we started thumbing through it, we were not wowed immediately, however as we began probing deeper and deeper into the full range of topics covered, impressed was not quite the word for it. We found awesome answers and solutions to problems at our own host that wed been just too lazy to try and figure out. Just a good example of how small problems or annoyances can go swept under the rug but Lunarpages had detailed information that was easy to find, that kept us from scratching our heads.

Look at databases for instance. Not only can you use the MySQL database servers you would of course expect to find at the host, but you will also find that your Windows Hosting plans have access to MS SQL database servers as well. Not only that, but they can by unlimited sizes!

Linux hosting plans have options for CPanel or Plesk when using VPS. (This is an awesome addition, since we are huge CPanel fans.) This is another point where a tool is available that will get the job done, but more tools are provided than needed, and let you choose the one that works best in your situation. We wouldnt be surprised if Lunarpages had right AND left handed employees, and went the extra mile to buy the lefty scissors and staplers to make sure thy could get their tasks done quickly.
